Inkline

Privacy policy

Effective 15 October 2026. Applies to the Inkline app for Android (package com.inklinegame.inkline).

Inkline is a game of tic tac toe and similar pen-and-paper games. This page explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't sell your personal information.

Information that stays on your phone

Your coins, your record against the computer, any unfinished game, your daily check-in streak and your settings are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Inkline is free and shows banner ads and optional rewarded videos through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:

Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Inkline under Settings > Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Android settings.

Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Usage analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)

To understand which features are used and where players get stuck, the app may send anonymous usage events to Google Firebase Analytics, such as starting or finishing a round, which game and computer level was played, using a hint, earning or spending coins, and collecting the daily check-in. These events are tied to a random app-instance identifier, not to your name or email. Firebase may also collect basic device information such as model and operating-system version.

Playing with a friend

Two-player games happen on one phone. Nothing about them is sent anywhere, and the app has no chat or online play.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Inkline shows an evening reminder to collect your daily check-in. Reminders are scheduled on your phone and need no internet connection or server. You can turn them off in Settings or in Android's notification settings.

Children

Inkline is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us below.

Data security and retention

Data sent to Google's advertising and analytics services travels over encrypted connections and is kept according to Google's policies. Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app.
